I love my ABS too, could never work out why there was such a debate about them (being any good or not).  It tends to stop me slipping my front at low speeds on wet surfaces, not life threatening but expensive.  Regarding the report, I suppose you have to take into account that bikes with ABS tend to be more expensive and ridden by older riders who, you'd hope, were a bit more experienced.

Like everything.. can you really put a price on safety??Yes we're on bikes, but every bit helps to keep us riding for many more years.  😀
