Hi, Just about to do 1st rear change on my adv1200. Have got about 10500k out of origional. Not sure if that is good or otherwise, but would love to get some opinions on what I should replace with. Heard of a few other brands but have had no experience . Or how they compare price wise. .Normally I do 75 % seal and 25% shingle.Cheers Phil .

What make was the original tyre ?10500k seems pretty good to me I normally get between 9-10000k out of my tyres on a 1200GS, I have had Tourance's, Pilot Roads and now Continental Road attack, all of which are good but I ride mainly all road.

    75 % seal and 25% shingle

Tourance or a Sahara Enduro 3 are your best bets for that combination

I have the new Tourances on my new Adventure and they show no sign of wear at 2,500ks. I run my rear tire hard and my front no more than 36-38psi and that with a lot of two up riding.
