Hello all,I recently moved back to Auckland. I've been a forum member for a couple of years and did a few rides with Barry and the Otago riders. I have a 2001 R1150RT which is going stir crazy sitting in the garage. Last WOF it was embarrassing the lack of km's it had done between warrants. Its a great bike and I'm determined to get a few more kilometres on it this year. Its the second BMW I've had. The first being an R80RT which unfortunately made way when I brought this one. Looking forward to meeting some fellow BMW fans.Cheers! John
Welcome back to the N.I. If you want to clock up some kilometres, go down SH 2 and switch into SH 5 at Napier and return through Taupo and Waikato. If it's back roads you want, a study of a map should provide.
