BMW Motorcycle Club of New Zealand Inc.
Established in 1975, the BMW Motorcycle Club of New Zealand is a nationwide community for anyone with an interest in BMW motorcycles—classic or modern. We host regular weekly and monthly gatherings across most regions, as well as major rallies held throughout the year. Members also receive a monthly digital newsletter featuring ride reports, articles, and details of upcoming events, rides, and rallies.
BMW Motorcycle Club actively organises and supports many motorcycle events.
What is the BMW Motorcycle Club?
We are a national organisation for people interested in BMW motorcycles and have a membership of approximately 600. Note that you do not have to own a BMW motorcycle to join.
Some BMW Motorcycle Dealers cover or contribute to the first year of membership with us for persons who buy a BMW Motorcycle from them. Ask your Dealer for any offer when purchasing your next bike from them.
Participating partners can also join as Pillion or Partner Members, paying a significantly reduced annual membership fee, provided they are affiliated with an Owner/full member and align their expiry dates, renewal payments, and postage of membership cards to one address.

Meetings
Each area may have different meeting dates; your Area Rep will send advisory emails. For contact details for the Area Reps, click HERE.
Auckland Members, a monthly meeting is held on the second Monday of each month, usually at the Vintage Car Club Rooms, 39 Fairfax Avenue, Penrose, Auckland, at 7.30 pm. Please contact Stephen Parkinson, auckland@bmwmc.nz, for confirmation if attending.
Wellington Members, monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. The venue may vary, but it is usually in the Kensington Lounge, Petone Workingmen’s Club, 47 Udy St, Petone, from 6:00 pm. Sign in, noting BMWMC as your member club. Bistro dining is available from 5:30 pm Please contact Denis Hulston, wellington@bmwmc.nz, for confirmation if attending.
Canterbury Members, a monthly meeting is held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Cranford Ale House, Cranford Street, St.Albans, Christchurch, from 6.30 pm. We look forward to welcoming you!
Runs and activities are organised in most centres each month (sometimes two or more). For details of advertised events, click HERE or please contact your Area Rep.
Activities and Organisation
BMW Motorcycle Club Board Members can be residents in any part of New Zealand. Area Representatives are responsible for organising and coordinating runs, informal meetings and social occasions in their area.

In addition, there is the Annual AGM and National Rally usually held in January/February (alternating in the South and North Islands); the North Island RAG Rally is held on the last weekend in March; and a South Island RAG Rally is usually in October.
