Membership Categories
Categories of membership and corresponding membership fees, until further notice, are:
| Life Membership | No fee. Able to Vote. Access all events & benefits |
| Owner Membership | Fee $60-00. Able to Vote. Access all events & benefits |
| Associate Membership | Fee $60-00. Able to Vote. Access all events & benefits |
| Pillion Membership | Fee $20-00. No vote. Access all events & benefits. |
| Corporate Membership | Fee $120-00. 2 cards issued. No vote. Access all events. |
| Introductory Membership | No fee. Limited to 12 months. No vote. Access all events |
| Complimentary Membership | No fee. No vote. No access. Newsletter only |

What does this means for me as a Member?
Life Membership.
No changes. Does not pay an Annual Membership Fee. Is able to Vote and has access to all BMWMC Events and benefits.
Owner Membership.
This member is the owner of a BMW Motorcycle. Pays an Annual Membership Fee of $60-00. Is able to Vote and has access to all BMWMC Events and benefits.
Associate Membership.
This member owns a motorcycle other than a BMW or has an interest in the BMW Marque. Pays an Annual Membership Fee of $60-00. Is able to Vote and has access to all BMWMC Events and benefits.
Pillion Membership.
This replaces the previous ‘Partner’ category. An Owner or an Associate could have more than 1 Pillion. Annual Membership Fee of $20-00. NO voting rights but does have access to BMWMC Events and benefits.
If the previous ‘Partner’ is a rider, they will now have to change to the category of either ‘Owner’ (if they have or ride a BMW motorcycle) or ‘Associate’ (if they have/ride a motorcycle that is not a BMW).
Corporate Membership.
This is a new category and is designed for funding and/or support for our organisation. An annual Membership Fee of $120-00 has been set. They have 2 shared cards issued under the Corporate Name. They do NOT vote but the cardholder can attend any appropriate BMWMC Event.
Introductory Membership:
This category usually relates to persons who have purchased a BMW motorcycle from a New Zealand BMW Motorcycle Dealer and is Limited to 12 months. There is NO membership fee or Membership Card and cannot vote but can access BMWMC events but NOT our other benefits.
Complimentary Membership.
There is NO membership fee. They have NO Vote. They have NO access to BMWMC Events (with the exception of an Invited Guest). This category relates to Overseas Clubs, New Zealand Dealers and Service Agents.
So…
Each Membership card will also have a date indicating when your membership expires. That may have insurance ramifications for you if you have a policy with reduced premiums due to your BMWMC Membership.
