Well, you should enjoy it here. We do a lot of rides on the weekend, not just the advertised register rides. Have you been down Hw22 to yet? If not you'll get to do it on the weekend.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you'll enjoy your stay.Bwucie should be able to give you some feedback on the two up potential of the R1100S. I can't see why not. You can always fit an after market seat to improve the pillion accommodation. Like Steve said, there seem to be quite a few for sale and very reasonably priced for what you get.

You've done excellent work on it, your bike looks great. I hope it gets to be dirty every now and then as well .

It was the charcoal colour. I suppose they'll get the colour you'd want if you ordered one.

don't know if i am happy about riding with someone that rides with a container of vaseline with im

It's much easier to accept a ticket, if you have one of those jars handy.

could ou take it to Otahuhu and ask the Indian video shop to burn us a few copiesi

You don't have to go this far, we have one that used to do all sorts of qualifications just up the road. I am sure they'd have no qualms about copying DVDs. You can of course borrow mine. But there is already a queue developing and you are currently second in line.

I would be keen for a ride out.I take it this is open to anyone?? Not sure where you start the ride from but I'm keen to head out to Raglan. If this is okay please send or post the details.CheersTZYAM

Of course it is open to anyone, that's why we post it on the internet :-). It's a lunch ride, so people usually just meet at the destination. My wife and I will be going, so you are welcome to ride with us. We could meet at the BP Papakura at 10am. This is more of a sketch than an accurate drawing. The measurements of the hole centres are pretty accurate. I've just noticed the I left the corners of the cut out. The should have a radius  as well. The piece is out of pressed steel and is 3 dimensionally shaped. The top two holes were used on my bike. You'd have to bend it into shape to get the slight radius that more of less matches the curve of the headlight housing. Hope this helps.

There didn't seem to be a separate bracket at the top. The triple clamp has two housings cast into it that hold the screws for the headlight.

I am going out in a few minutes, but I'll have a closer look tomorrow. From what I could see The headlight has bolts that do directly into the top of the triple clamp. The bottom of the headlight is held in place by a Y shaped mounting bracket that has a single hole at the base, where it bolts into the lower clamp and to elongated holes in each of the Y's arms to which the light is attaches. Is it the Y bracket that you are after?
