Whangarei Ride November 06

Another great ride. Left Westgate, West Auckland at 9.30am – 10 bikes, 12 riders. Headed north via Wellsford country route. Saw several boys in blue but, being the law abiding citizens we are, had no issues to talk to them about  :wink:  Stopped for a chat at Wellsford then on to Whangarei on country roads that were made for motorcycling :-D. Had lunch at Mondo's Cafe in the Whangarei Harbour. From there several headed home while the rest of us went out to (Ocean Beach) Whangarei Heads. A beautiful spot. From there the group fragmented and headed home. Another great ride.[img][/img]

You do those pictures extremely well Ingel, if I ever get round to posting some more I will have to try and hunt out the instructions that Alex gave me about a year ago  😕

We forgot to bring the sun tan lotion, didn't want to risk the bikes. I must say, Gerda did discuss the best approach to the beach. I think she's hooked  😀

Get the odd sunny/calm one but, another glorious day of 130K+ wind gusts and very heavy rain here made for an interesting ride to work this morning  👿 Tomorrow is the first day of Summer  🙄
