Inactive23/12/2012 at 5:49 pmPost count: 41hello allam (thinking seriously of) buying a 1996 r1100r with 54,000km for use when i visit family in singapore.never considered an r before because they were too tall/big for me. learnt that this model has 3-stage adjustable seat height, and the lowest at 760mm is a do-able. hence the interest.could anyone with a similar model advise what, in particular, i should look at for one this age and mileage? motorcycles in singapore cost 50% more; so any help re: insider knowledge will be appreciated.mean time, merry christmas and may 2013 be a good one.regards,Shah

I only have one vice (no drinking, smoking etc). I just make it a really good one ;DOh, and I know nothing about the older beemers... those dudes impress me!

Inactive16/01/2013 at 2:14 amPost count: 41sigh. r1100r purchase deal in singapore fell through.but bought a 100cc honda wave in hanoi. now touring vietnam with it. left hanoi on saturday; leaving hue for danang today. should get to ho chih minh city in a-week. great little bike; good fun.
