As I have had the Escort for 3 or 4 years … and given I travel around 30K km a year on my bike … I really have lost count of the number of times I have been saved … but it is lots
Like my friend Steve B (the cop) says .. he who speeds in the wrong places WILL get caught, is correct ... so I am careful BUT its that time you relax a little in a 70kph area or those long boring straights where you speed creaps up that the Escort has saved me
Also it great security after you have overtaken a car ... got up to 130/140kph and as your speed drops down (short of jumping on the brakes) that you are vulnerable
Hope all that helps .... I assure you they are an investment (agreed not assurance againest ever getting a ticket) but you only have to save ONE !! and you're on the right side and without demerit points
