At the risk of getting this tread back onto the original topic, I must say that changing the oil without removing the sump plug really does sound like a No 8 fencing wire kind of bodge.You’ve got no way of finding out what nasties may be lurking in the sump, and if you don’t care what’s in the sump, then why bother changing the oil at all … 😮+1 for the AA 😀
