This house is on State Highway 2 also; not too distant south from the wetland aea under restoration at Peka Peka. (Which is about 25-30 k's south of Hastings.) Some years ago there was a car parked on the left side of the building. A Chev Fleetmaster or similar. This house has been the subject of art too. I have seen a painting of it in a local art shop.
