South Island RAG Rally:
13th-15th of November 2026
Brightwater!
This year we’ll be at the Top of the South Island
REGISTER HERE – It’s sure to be another exciting SIRAG!
Venue/Lodgings: Paretai Lodge, 129 Lee Valley Road, Wairoa Valley 7091
Our lovely organisers are:

Accommodation is bunk beds/rooms.
$110 per member/member partner attending
Friday nibbles, Saturday mini nibble and dinner
Drinks: Tea, coffee, sugar and milk for drinks and toast for breakfast
Participants to provide:
Sleeping bag, Pillow slip and towel
Food for dinner on Friday, breakfasts, lunches, snacks and any beverages
15:00 – Registration starts.
16:30 – Pre-dinner nibbles (savouries and crisps)
17:00 – Welcome to the weekend and housekeeping
17:15 – Briefing on evening ride and sign up.
18:00 – Dinner BYO at venue or sourced locally.
19:30 – Leave for a jaunt up Ben Nevis (optional)
Saturday 14th November
Breakfast beyond the very, very basics provided by participants or go off site. Tea, coffee and toast will be provided.
08:45 – Gravel ride briefing
09:00 – Gravel ride leaves
09:10 – Road ride briefing
09:20 Road ride leaves
Venue will be locked if no one is on site.
16:30 Pre-dinner crisps
18:00 – Dinner, Lasagne (with vegetarian option), Cottage pies, garlic bread, salads AND CAKE!
Post-dinner collective tidy up.
Sunday 15th November
Breakfast as per previous day
No formal rides but informal rides after cleaning up!
09:00 – Collective clean of bunk rooms, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
10:00 Vacate the venue for home or informal ride(s).
