Notes from Jason Canterbury’s Area Rep.
You book the accommodation directly with Top 10. We have reserved the function rooms, so we have exclusive use of them and the kitchen facilities. Tea/coffee and milk will be available for attendees all weekend in these rooms.
Friday:
We will open the function room at 4 pm for people to sign in, get a name tag and register for Saturday’s ride, Road or Gravel.
There’ll be a chance to meet and greet over snacks and nibbles supplied from 5:30 pm, BYO drinks.
Everyone is free to stay for the evening, pop out and bring back takeaways if wanted. Annabelle and I will order some Pizzas and can do a bulk order with anyone wishing to join us.
Saturday:
Like the snacks/nibbles above, the BBQ is included in rego cost, and BYO drinks. Sausages/meat patties, buttered bread, potato salad, pasta salad and coleslaw. Probably on paper plates with disposable knives and forks unless you BYO.
All of this will, of course, be fairly basic food, nothing too fancy but delicious nonetheless. The idea is to catch up with each other and have a fun time rather than focus on a flash meal.
