DESCRIPTION:Updated: 24/07/2026 \n\nSouth Island RAG Rally:\n13th-15th of November 2026\nBrightwater!\n\n\nThis year we’ll be at the Top of the South Island\n\nREGISTER HERE – It’s sure to be another exciting SIRAG!\n\nVenue/Lodgings: Paretai Lodge\, 129 Lee Valley Road\, Wairoa Valley 7091\nOur lovely organisers are:\nAnja\, Dale\, Hilary and Rodney of the Top of the South region. \nAnja Claus\, TOTS Area Rep – 027 711 1113 \nDale Grover\, TOTS member and FB moderator – 027 297 1759 \nAccommodation is bunk beds/rooms. \n$110 per member/member partner attending \n\n\n\n$160 per non-member attending\n\nDetails:\nPrice is fixed whether you bunk\, tent or stay offsite\nAccommodation: 30 bunk beds plus 30 people camping\nThere is no mobile coverage\nFuel in Brightwater\, 5 min\, 4.8 km away or Wakefield\, 11 min\, 12 km.\nBoth Brightwater and Wakefield have a supermarket or a café.\nWakefield Bakery is famous for its food and coffee.\n\n\nThe venue has a full kitchen\, a walk-in chiller\, plates\, and utensils.\n\nFood we provide:\nFriday nibbles\, Saturday mini nibble and dinner\nDrinks: Tea\, coffee\, sugar and milk for drinks and toast for breakfast\n\nParticipants to provide:\nSleeping bag\, Pillow slip and towel\nFood for dinner on Friday\, breakfasts\, lunches\, snacks and any beverages \n\nFriday:\n15:00 – Registration starts.\n16:30 – Pre-dinner nibbles (savouries and crisps)\n17:00 – Welcome to the weekend and housekeeping\n17:15 – Briefing on evening ride and sign up.\n18:00 – Dinner BYO at venue or sourced locally.\n19:30 – Leave for a jaunt up Ben Nevis (optional)\n\nSaturday 14th November\nBreakfast beyond the very\, very basics provided by participants or go off site. Tea\, coffee and toast will be provided. \n08:45 – Gravel ride briefing\n09:00 – Gravel ride leaves\n09:10 – Road ride briefing\n09:20 Road ride leaves \nVenue will be locked if no one is on site. \n16:30 Pre-dinner crisps\n18:00 – Dinner\, Lasagne (with vegetarian option)\, Cottage pies\, garlic bread\, salads AND CAKE! \nPost-dinner collective tidy up. \nSunday 15th November\nBreakfast as per previous day\nNo formal rides but informal rides after cleaning up! \n09:00 – Collective clean of bunk rooms\, bathrooms\, kitchen etc.\n10:00 Vacate the venue for home or informal ride(s). \n  \nFor any questions\, please email sirag@bmwmc.nz \n\nWe look forward to seeing you all there. \nSee a problem or something is missing?
